What to Wear on Christmas Day
Christmas day is fast approaching, and whether you're staying at home or visiting family it's important to dress appropriately. It may not seem like a big deal but you've got to make a good impression on the in-laws! Here's everything you need to know about dressing for Christmas…
Staying at home with your family
Staying at home with your family can be very relaxing when you're all laid on the sofa watching films together. A cosy knit like Eagan in burgundy is comfy to cook Christmas dinner in and perfect for a cuddle by the fire. Great with jeans or joggers for ultimate relaxation.
Going to your parents house
Going to your parents' means you have to leave the jogging bottoms at home and make a bit of an effort. Parents are guaranteed to love novelty Christmas dressing but if that’s not your style, a nice festive shirt like Mein will do just the trick. It’s bright, cheerful and striking enough to make you the centre of attention.
Going to your partner's parents house
This is a tough one because you need to make a good impression on the in-laws and probably don’t want to stand out in that Santa jumper your partner is telling you to wear. We recommend the classic Robbins shirt with a hint of red for that Christmassy touch.
Spending it with friends
Christmas spent with friends makes a nice change and is much less stressful than cramming all your family into one house with all the kids and your sister's dog under your feet. Let’s face it, there's going to be a lot of booze so we recommend the Beal polo shirt in red to get everyone in the festive spirit. It’s casual but not too casual, and it's less likely to show up any stains from dropping your Christmas dinner.
On your own
And if you're spending Christmas with number one you won't need anything more than a pair of novelty boxers for sitting on the sofa, eating food and watching Christmas films!
