Women were on the march in reaction to Donald Trump’s inauguration which sparked a year of female empowerment.

FEBRUARY

Beyoncé announced she was pregnant with twins which earnt her the most liked Instagram picture of 2017.

11.2 million likes… Talk about breaking the internet.

MARCH

The Fidget Spinner fascination took over the world (or maybe just the UK, we’re easily amused).

APRIL

Kendall Jenner starred in a controversial Pepsi advert which was heavily criticized for being insensitive to the Black Lives Matter movement.

Wonder Woman was released and became the highest-grossing film within the DC Extended Universe. (Third highest-grossing movie of the year!)

The death of Linkin Park front man, Chester Bennington, sparked a worldwide conversation about mental health and suicide.
